What a tough question to answer! Let’s start with the basics. I am a mother to six, a grandmother to three, and a pet mom to three yappy Chihuhuas. I have been supporting babies and children most of my life. My passion for this work comes from my personal life experiences. The births of my children were far from what I would have loved to have experienced. The lack of support from some of the doctors and hospitals left me empty. My personal circumstances did not lend to a supportive environment either. These experiences have ignited a passion to collaborate with birthing people and their families to advocate for the birth they want. I have trained as a birth and postpartum doula. I am also currently working on my Lamaze certification for childbirth educator, EST 5/2024.
